MoseleyDriving SchoolThe following terms and conditions represent the basis upon which driving lessons and courses are offered by Moseley Driving School. Please note the contract for services provided is between You and Moseley Driving School.
Tuition is only available to persons who meet the following criteria:
Aged 17 or over, or aged 16 or over and in receipt of or have applied for the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), or in receipt of the higher rate of Disability Living Allowance (mobility component); and hold a valid UK provisional driving licence; and legally entitled to drive in the UK.
If You wish to cancel a lesson a minimum of 24 hours’ prior notice should be given. For Intensive Courses seven days clear notice is required. If you do not give the timely notice of cancellation you will be charged for the lesson(s) in full.
In your own interest you are advised to be punctual for your lesson appointments. The instructor would normally wait for a maximum of 15 minutes before the lesson would be abandoned and the lesson fee forfeit or become due for payment.
Any lessons postponed by Your Instructor will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time. The Moseley Driving School cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of them having to postpone any lessons, for whatever reason.
Your Moseley Driving School instructor reserves the right to postpone lessons if he thinks that the weather or road conditions are unsuitable or dangerous. Any lessons postponed by Your instructor will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time. Moseley Driving School cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of them having to postpone any lessons, for whatever reason.
Lessons that have been Prepaid a minimum of seven days clear notice must be given or You will be charged for the lessons concerned in full.
Driving lesson prices are subject to change and our prices are determined by postcode area. Moseley Driving School has the right to increase their individual prices. From time to time we have special offers. Please enquire.
The instructor reserves the right to cancel any lesson if he suspects you are under the influence of drugs and or alcohol and charged for the period of the lesson. Any prepaid fees for the lesson will be forfeit.
Driving test bookings always take priority over other lessons. Therefore, your lesson may be postponed to allow for someone else’s driving test and vice-versa. You will be notified as quickly as possible to any changes to your lesson bookings as a result of this.
In the interests of customer and public safety Your Moseley Driving School instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of a car for the purpose of a test if in their opinion you are not ready for the test. The driving instructor considers your driving is potentially or actually dangerous – behaviour which if repeated on the test would result in a test failure.
All our lessons are delivered in a new Honda Civic. The Honda Civic has plenty of leg and headroom, and has a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating (European New Car Assessment Programme).
